Facial line softening is carried out using prescription only medicine that is injected into facial muscles to temporarily minimize the appearance of moderate-to-severe wrinkles or chemically “lift” areas of the face such as the eyebrows. It can also be used to manage excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)
Facial line softening injectables block an enzyme called acetylcholine at presynaptic nerve endings, which prevents the nerves from recognizing a trigger to move a muscle, reducing or relaxing wrinkles caused by repeated and involuntary facial expressions or preventing sweat release.
One treatment lasts about three to four months, then slowly starts to wear off as your muscles go back to the way they were.
Facial line softening is very safe, effective and has been used in practice for over 20 years.
All first time clients must have a face to face consultation with the prescriber prior to treatment. This is a government law to ensure all safety to clients and to create a unique prescription for each individual.
